Shot Development
Develop your creative skills while animating a new shot.
Great animation requires more than technical ability or a list of notes on what to fix. Developing as an animator means building the artistic judgment needed to understand why something works, how to improve it, and what choices will make your work stronger.
Through six rounds of feedback, we'll develop a shot from the initial idea through animation. Each session builds on the last, helping you improve both the shot and the skills needed to create stronger animation throughout your career.
The Development Process
Plan for Success
Before your first review, we'll discuss your goals, choose the right shot, and talk through the creative direction before you begin planning and blocking.
Explore Creative Solutions
Great animation is built through decisions. We explore creative solutions, discuss each choice, and strengthen both your shot and your artistic eye.
More Than Just Notes
Notes can help improve a shot, but understanding why they matter is what creates real growth. We'll focus on the "why," not just the "how."
Build Momentum
With a clear goal and consistent feedback, you'll have the structure and accountability needed to stay on track and keep pushing your work further.
